Crystal’s extensive experience is anchored in her creation and facilitation of the GO!MOM Community sessions. Through these dynamic sessions, she provides a curriculum designed to engage, educate, and uplift single mothers, fostering a supportive community where real conversations and profound personal growth flourish. Her approach not only addresses immediate challenges but also cultivates the powerful spirit and resilience inherent in single mothers.

Samuel Harris | Vice President
Samuel Harris is a graduate of St. Francis with a degree in Business Management, where he was also a dedicated basketball athlete. During college, Samuel became actively involved in nonprofit work with several highly regarded organizations in New York City devoted to advocating for economic development. Samuel successfully organized and promoted voter registration efforts across various communities for both Republican and Democratic parties.
After graduation, Samuel pursued a career in real estate and now holds both a real estate license and a mortgage license. Samuel’s deep commitment to service and his diverse range of expertise from multiple fields, seamlessly contributes to the growth and expansion of the GO!MOM Empowers, Inc network.

Karla Thompson | Secretary
Karla Thompson, a native of Durham, NC, relocated to Orlando, FL in 2016. In Durham, she founded the African American Single Parent Network, dedicated to creating a supportive community where single parents can uplift, inspire, and become a village for one another.
Karla has also been a recurring motivational and educational guest speaker at the Salvation Army Women's Shelter in Charlotte, NC, where she shared her insights on resilience and empowerment.
With over 15 years of experience as a Community Manager in property management, Karla brings a wealth of expertise in managing multi-million dollar assets. This knowledge has been instrumental in her success as a realtor in Central Florida, but her passion for helping others extends beyond her professional career, as she continues to serve single mothers in Orlando and Palm Beach, FL, through her involvement with GO!MOM Empowers Inc..
